Details |
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:75.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0
Steps to reproduce:
Installed the flatpak on elementary OS.
Launched firefox through the flatpak (clicking the icon or flatpak run org.mozilla.firefox)
Actual results:
In the dock the default application icon (e.g. NOT the firefox icon, but rather just a cog) shows up.
Expected results:
As with the .deb version, launching a firefox window should show the firefox icon in the dock. If i drag the launcher into the dock, and click it, another icon (default app or lowres firefox) shouldn't show, but rather the starndard 'open window indicator' (a dot under the icon) should show up

The righthand icon is the one that is the open window.
The lefthand one is the launcher that was dragged to the dock

Going forward, Flatpak-related bugs will no longer be filed under RelEng, but instead in Core/Widget:GTK
where folks have much more in-depth knowledge on this. If the issues are RelEng related, they can be filed against Release Engineering :: Release Automation: Other
and we'll take care of that.
