If you type "etc/" in the URL bar you will be forwarded to "http://www.etc.com/ ".

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:75.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0
Steps to reproduce:
Type "etc/", "/etc/" or for example "/etc/abcdef" in the URL bar.
Actual results:
You will be forewardet to "http://www.etc.com/"
Expected results:
The best way would have been to land on the page "https://etc/" (as with "google/")

www.etc.com should only be tried after etc/ failed, this happens in the docshell, we try etc/ first, if it fails we try to fixup adding browser.fixup.alternate.prefix and browser.fixup.alternate.suffix
There is likely another bug about defaulting to https...
