Expected results:
Add 'Open the Profile Manager', what opens Firefox with --ProfileManager.
This would already be added to the unofficial and official flatpak editions. Adding this option on all platforms would improve consistency (and usability).
It was also proposed to add it on all versions. I disagree: adding the option for stable and ESR might confuse regular people.
I am willing to implement it myself, opening the bug for discussion.

It's not Flatpak specific, Flatpak would already get this anyway. This bug is to get the feature implemented everywhere.

Doesn't this come from the desktop file? We don't ship a desktop file "everywhere" as far as I know?
It does come from the desktop file, the bug would be to also change the desktop file in the upstream Firefox Linux and whatever the equivalent is on other desktop platforms.

Going forward, Flatpak-related bugs will no longer be filed under RelEng, but instead in Core/Widget:GTK where folks have much more in-depth knowledge on this. If the issues are RelEng related, they can be filed against Release Engineering :: Release Automation: Other and we'll take care of that.
