Bug 1556727 replaced the somewhat scary “email sent to X people” message with a small toast notification. Still, new contributors may be surprised to see the number that will be sometimes dozens, while showing the number is not really meaningful. There was a short conversation on Slack about the notification, and it’s probably okay to remove it, finally.
To make (power) users better informed, Bugzilla should rather provide a list of component watchers along with the bug CC list, just like GitHub repositories, but it’s a separate issue.

@dkl said the toast itself should probably remain, so I’m just removing the “email sent to X people” part.
