Details
I hate, when Anti-Virus-Software is presistent and running all the time;
attachments can be easily controled by accepting only the PGP-signed ones from
people you know -> so the only way of getting infected of a virus is:
downloading it
the mozilla download-manager or download-properties give the option to:
-launch file
-show file location
-close
but there is no option to
-launch virusscan (in Preferences, there should be an option to specify the
virusscanner or a command-line to run)
now if files have to be scanned, you have to do it manually --- and in most
cases scanning them is a good idea
