I got an e-mail today, created by Outlook Express 5.00.2919.6700 that brings
Mozilla down to it's knees. When displayed, CPU usage hits 100% and the UI
becomes frozen and stops repainting for as long as the message is displayed.
However it is responsive to clicks, and as soon as you click on another message,
the nastiness stops.
I used the original e-mail to create a small testcase. It has the same effect
while viewed in Messenger, or opened in it's own window. But does not happen
when opened as .eml file in Navigator.
I think the cause of this is somehow related to the background attachment image
in it.
The original message got displayed with no problems, including the background
image and all content, except for the CPU lockdown.
