User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 If I sort mail so that the newest message is at the bottom and I open the mail and news component, all the oldest mail at the top is shown. Every time I have to scroll the mail list to get to the newest messages. Eudora will automatically scroll to show the last selected message, and this is what Mozilla should do. Usually this will be the one above the new messages and no manual scrolling will be necessary. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Sort mail so newest is at bottom. 2. Open mail 3. Actual Results: Oldest messages show. Expected Results: Show newest messages, or messages around the last selected message.
It just has been fixed on the trunk so it will be in the 1.2 builds. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80608 ***
