While recording a profile today, I wanted to double check the current preset (the reason is I used the shortcuts to start the record). But the preset isn't displayed in the "currently recording" view so one has to stop the recording first and restart it.

I think we should at least display the current preset, and possibly the various pref values (this maybe only for the "custom" preset, TBD).

I'm marking this bug as blocking bug 1597371 because I believe this is a spec bug -- even if the current behavior matches the current spec. But feel free to change to block 1566920 instead if you think it's more appropriate.

I'm going to change this to improvements, mainly because I'm using Bug 1597371 to track work for this specific sprint, and I'd prefer not to scope creep.
