This is my web page. I just used Composer 1.0.1 RC1 to add tables to the page.
Now the links within the page do not submit. The links outside of forms work,
but the ones in the table do not. This may be related to bug 162648, but this
is not a form.
This fails in both 1.1b #2002082109 and 1.0.1 RC1. It works in MSIE 6.0. If
this is a HTML problem, it is a bug in Composer, as it did the HTML for me. And
if that is the case, MSIE still manages to make it work.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The link does not submit.
Expected Results:
Opened the page referenced in the link.

Those links point to the hard drive, for example:
file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ascaris/Desktop/As-web/what_is.htm

Yes, you are quite right about that... I did not notice that it converted all of
my relative links to absolute links on my hard drive. I created a new table and
moved the contents into the left cell of that table, and Mozilla converted them.
As I mentioned, this was the first time I used Mozilla to edit a page. I
probably would have figured it out if MSIE had not successfully brought up the
page. Shouldn't Mozilla have retrieved the pages off of my hard drive anyway,
as MSIE did?
I am not sure why Composer converted only the URLs that I moved into the table,
and not the one I moved from the bottom of the page to the top (the "biography"
link)... in both cases I used cut and paste to move existing links in the index
page (which I created on NS4.79).

The error is in Composer, where cut and paste in the same document changes links
from relative to absolute.
