78.0a1 (2020-05-19) Nightly build, and can't auto-update past that, because Firefox says it can't download the newest Nightly.

Creating a new profile works fine.
Restarting Firefox Nightly in Safe mode with addons disabled will load pages.

I ended up re-downloading firefox nightly, and now have two apps: "FirefoxNightly.app" and "Firefox Nightly.app" (spaces different). New version works (but feels slower).

Not sure what the relation to Session Restore is; I think that it may be worth to triage by the Updater team!

Sorry to hear you hit this one. I suspect it's related to 1639979 - are you able to use the workaround described in comment #2 to fix your original copy of Nightly?

That seems to be the same build as the other bug.
Flipping security.cancel_non_local_loads_triggered_by_systemprincipal should resolve this for you.
