I cannot confirm this behavior, and I believe other Windows beta testers will likely agree.
Does it reproduce with Window and Thunderbird started in safe mode?

I am not seeing this issue either on 78.0RC2. Drag and drop attachments to top right corner of compose window works ok for me. It opens a small area to drop the file onto just beneath the paperclip.

I think one of my Windows 10 annoying constant updates may have broken something, I uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird and it works fine. It had stopped working just after the client update so I assumed it was it but I did not take into consideration the windows updates which many times have me reinstalling non windows software they constantly break

Sounds good. If you think it's fixed on your end. Want to go ahead and close as Works For Me?
