Same here, on two videos. One get back into shape after a few seconds, the other not.
It's not necessarily the first few frames, but the frames where you start playing.
Build ID 20200709093347
I'm running into this consistently. Restarting doesn't help. Reproduces in a fresh profile.
mozregression points to https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=ca9ad40caa79625a5fca604e3af6488497115a6d&tochange=8cf433954cb59bb13bd4af87ea411d50c6910987, so it's probably bug 1536515.
I've attached the Graphics section of my about:support.

Does setting gfx.webrender.enable-client-storage to false fix it? (requires restart)

I was able to reproduce this brokenness as well. I asked for a new nightly to be triggered with the fix.

I was able to reproduce the issue on Nightly (2020-07-08) under macOS 10.15.6 following the STR from Comment 0.
The issue is fixed on Firefox 80.0b7 (WR enabled manually) and Nightly 81.0a1 (2020-08-12). Tests were performed under macOS 10.15.6, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.
