Actual results:

Screen flashes white

Expected results:

Screen should not flash white

I use a dark ubuntu theme. Is it because of that?

Thanks for the additional details.
I was also able to reproduce the issue on my end as well, using windows 10 pro on the following versions. (using ctrl +R, f5, and hitting refresh button as well, and enabling dark them)

Firefox Nightly version 81.0a1 (2020-07-29) (64-bit)
Beta 80.0b1 (64-bit)
Release 79.0 (64-bit)

I will move this over to a component so developers can take a look over it. If is not the correct component please feel free to change it to an appropriate one.
