tested: run dialog, explorer
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020830
steps:
(navigator)
ctrl-L
h
expected results: magnifier shouldn't change focus after you type the 'h',
although it obviously should show some completion stuff.
actual results:
the point between the bottom left of the urlbar and the top left of the
completion box is the center of the magnifier window.
Summary: magnifier.exe focus should not change when the autocomplete widget pops up → magnify.exe focus should not change when the autocomplete widget pops up

Hmm, interesting, I wonder if real text magnifcation apps like ZoomText, MAGic
or Lunar will experience this. Thanks for the bug report.

This does not appear to be a problem running on AIX using Gnopernicus and magnifier.

To answer my own question -- they aren't having this problem, and neither is
gnome-mag.
So, this is a problem when magnify.exe only. We're exposing the correct events.
Nothing to fix in Mozilla.
