This contains fixes for various issues discovering during fuzz testing as well as other code that has been committed to the github repo since the last update in bug 1656616.

That's a strange failure. It seems to be triggered by a seemingly innocuous update of a supporting library. I'm investigating fixes, but it may take a bit since this isn't something I can run locally.

Pinning the num-traits version seems to have fixed the issue. I've updated the review and re-requested check-in.
