What were you doing?

  1. Enable browser chrome and add-ons debugging toolboxes and Enable remote debugging
  2. Wait for nighty update so that update badge will appear on menu button
  3. Menu > Web Developer > Browser Toolbox

What happened?

Nothing happens.

What should have happened?

Browser Toolbox should open.

Anything else we should know?

After performed update Nightly(Menu > Restart to update Nightly) then Menu > Web Developer > Browser Toolbox works as expected.

So, looks like the browser update process is blocking browser toolbox.

I think there are existing reports for this issue: Bug 1120863, Bug 1327690, Bug 1624992.
This is a long standing issue, I propose to close this as a duplicate (using Bug 1120863 which has most of the discussion)
