Details

There is a bunch of proxy stuff that matt commented out so it wouldn't show up in the Proxy Pref UI, including Gopher, Wais, etc. We probably shouldn't ship with the code commented out, i.e. it should be deleted eventually if these features don't get implemented.

This was not done for Netscape 6, but it would be nice if the next mozilla release pruned out WAIS and Gopher (unless gopher is checked in by then)
WAIS is not looking like it's going to be implemented (ever), so we need to drop this dialog box in the big cleanup.

Who hooked up Gopher last? Lets ask them to do the cleanup.
Which file is this in? gopher is supported now, so the pref should stay.
I'm know XUL expert, but I think what we should do here is have you ask paulmac what needs to be removed and remove it. Or if this is silly (remember, I don't know how robust XUL is, mark this WONTFIX. At this point, I can assure you that WAIS is out and we won't be proxying more protocol types.
wais is gone, everything else is implemented or should be working, adding darin, marking invalid.

VERIFIED: Mozilla 0.9. The dialogs are generally functional, so new problems will go to new bugs.
