Steps to reproduce:
When sending emails with attachments
Actual results:
the email copied to the sent email folder still contains the attachment
Expected results:
It would be sufficient if the sent email would only contain a link to the sent attachment (similarly to what happens when an attachment is detached from an email). Especially not that the AttachmentEXtractor addon is not working anymore, my sent email folder is rapidly growing in size. See also bug 92146

actually bug 292067 is about removing attachments from received email, not sur that will be working on sent emails

That's just an implementation detail. Filters can in general work on any messages.
