Details

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910

If Control and/or Shift keys are pressed while using the v. scrollbar,
the selection remains as expected !

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open: Edit > Preferences... > Navigator > Languages
2. Click Add button
3. Select at least one language
4. Use the vertical scrollbar

Actual Results:
As soon as the v. scrollbar is used, the selection is "cleared",
and has to be made again.

Expected Results:
The selection should remain unchanged when using the v. scrollbar.

2 Workarounds:
1) Do not use the scrollbar after making a selection;
   press directly the Ok button;
   and reuse the Add button if other language is needed.
2) Press C. or S. keys while using the scrollbar :->

NB:
This bug may have been there for some time (allways ?);
Only now, I discover the C./S. trick;
I used to beleive that only one language could be added at a time :-<

v1.2b behaves like v1.2a: see Description.

Bug still there.

reporter do you use the standard themes?

Re comment 5:

[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529]

(As reporter)
"FixedForMe" in v1.4rc1:
It's the first time that I see this working (not a (K) 'regression' AFAIK):
it must have been fixed at some date after v1.4a was released.

(I have always used Classic/default theme.)

I let you Resolve this bug as appropriate.

[Netscape® Communicator 4.8 : en-20020722]

Not that important now, but it was a (K) '4xp'.
Keywords: 4xp
on comment 7 the reporter says it is gone with 1.4rc1. And I've never seen it on
win95.

Re comment 8:

While I fully agree to have this bug Resolved;
I would have prefered (Fixed or) WorksForMe instead of Invalid.

[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425]

I checked again the v1.3.1 which I have kept: this bug still happens !
[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425]

PS: The behaviour is that, responding to pressing the up or down button on the
lift, the list scrolls one line, _then_ the highlighted item(s) colour is reset
to normal colour.
