the files global/brand.dtd and global-platform/region.dtd still have 1.1b instead of 1.2a, and so correct language/content packs don't work with 1.2 alpha or current trunk builds. I'll attach a patch in a few minutes.

Seems we have the same problem with 1.2b or at least the similar outcome (english version needs update) tested on win2k and 98SE

Croco: The bug as described in the bug summary is gone. The new one is very, very similar but involves a different version and is filed as bug 174989 Marking FIXED again.
