User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 When moving mail from the local "Sent" folder to an IMAP folder, the first message takes at least 30 seconds before it is moved. It is also true that IMAP authentication is normally much slower than Netscape Communicator 4.x, but this is really awful. To make matters worse, there is no indication of progress in the status bar other than the animated barberpole. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Drag message from local Sent folder to an IMAP folder. Actual Results: 30 second delay, no status indication, then message is finally moved. Expected Results: Presuming you are already authenticated to the IMAP server, message move should happen in 1 to 5 seconds. If you have to first authenticate, that should only add another 5 seconds.
This bug seems to have the same (final) complaint as bug 163951 (at least for the latest comments in that bug).
