(Keywords: regression)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0
Steps to reproduce:
Setup:
(1) Set privacy.resistFingerprinting to true
(2) Open a page and make sure the devicePixelRatio is greater than 1, either due to Firefox using system scaling greater than 100% or by using page zoom.
Start capturing a screenshot and either click to select a node or drag to select an area, then click Copy.
Paste into an image Editor.
Actual results:
Captured rectangle is truncated because it is sized for devicePixelRatio = 1
Per mozRegression, this is a regression from bug 1664444
Expected results:
Captured rectangle should reflect the correct devicePixelRatio (despite resistFingerprinting)

Thanks for the report, you are correct. We don't have a timeline for when this will be fixed, but it should be fixed by Bug 1450398.

Thanks for reporting! Given that the fingerprinting functionality would be fixed in Bug 1450398 and the zoom scaling is being addressed in 1699410, I'm going to resolve this a dupe
