Crash report: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/90e37fa1-16df-4c16-a519-cba5b0210308

Reason: SIGSEGV /SEGV_MAPERR

Top 3 frames of crashing thread:

0 libGLES_mali.so libGLES_mali.so@0x761254
1 libGLES_mali.so libGLES_mali.so@0x760b8c
2 libxul.so webrender::renderer::Renderer::render_impl gfx/wr/webrender/src/renderer/mod.rs:2150

GPU is Mali-T760MP8. Common devices are SM-N920C (Samsung Galaxy Note5 Duos), SM-G928F (Galaxy S6 Edge+), SM-N920G (Samsung Galaxy Note5) all are the international versions.

Potentially related to bug 1638593, but unfortunately I cannot reproduce either..

Depends on: 1701633

Since bug 1701633 landed some crash reports are trickling in for this bug and bug 1638593 (which I assume are the same) with the GraphicsDrawShader annotation. We appear to be crashing either during cs_clip_box_shadow_TEXTURE_2D or cs_blur_ALPHA_TARGET draw calls. Interestingly both of these are rendering to an alpha target, so perhaps that is important.

I'm going to close this as a duplicate of bug 1638593, as I believe they are the same, but just a slightly different driver version meaning a different signature. Both crashes occur during a draw call with the same shaders.
