Steps to reproduce:
Receive mail with mp4 attachment. Click on attachment. Get message box containing "what should Thunderbird do with this file?" Box options clearly checked to open with xxxxxxxx and "do this automatically ..." Have to OK twice.
Actual results:
Action not performed automatically. Have to click the OK twice.
Expected results:
Once xxxxxxxxxx is established as the preferred method for opening, no dialog should be necessary.

Still present in Thunderbird 88.0b1, which is an update from 87.0b3.
