Last week we turned on tests for Apple Silicon (OSX 11.2.3 on new Apple based hardware). We are using the simplified new test config process:
https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/testing/ci-configs/index.html

As the tests are live, we are now filing bugs to help close the loop and hope to fix any issues over the next 7 weeks. As the process outlines, there are tier-3 jobs running on m-c which run these skipped tests and will expect a failure/timeout/crash- if it doesn't fail, then the job will turn orange.

Here is the failing test:
toolkit/content/tests/browser/browser_crash_previous_frameloader.js

:mossop - it looks like you are triage owner of multiple components- here is another test failing on the new apple silicon platform.

This looks like yet another crash reporter test that is failing on Apple silicon.

The exception handler is bailing out as it cannot deal with the exception properly. We need to fix bug 1035892 in order to solve this.

Depends on: 1035892

Looks like this is blocked on something else right now. NI me if this is unblocked and still needs investigating.

Bug 1035892 is finally fixed but I don't have an ARM-based mac to test if we can re-enable this. Joel do you know who I might ask to test this for me?

thanks for asking, right now we don't have a pool online- upgraded the machines and working on running the browser in arm64 vs rosetta emulation for x86_64. :bhearsum will be working on that when he is back from the wellness week.
