We recently released an infobar that re-checks with users at 5 week intervals if they're interested in setting Firefox as default now that they've had more time to try our browser. There was no cap on the number of impressions.

We've decided to make revisions. We will only display the infobar:

• twice (2 times) after installation
• 5 weeks and 10 weeks after installation
• do not display if users unchecked: "Recommend features as you browse" (this is sort of a stop-gap given the set to default setting was meant for the modal at startup and the copy is unclear)

We believe that this will give users time to try the browser without alienation our existing users.
