User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0
Steps to reproduce:
-
Use system settings and/or about:config to set prefers-reduced-motion.
-
Open a lot of tabs, so they don't fit within the width of the window.
-
Firefox will have arrows at each end up the tab list. Click an arrow.
Actual results:
- While you hold the arrow, Firefox will animate scrolling this.
Expected results:
- If it jumped, say 10 tabs per click, that would avoid animation. It wouldn't be as disorienting or as likely to cause migraines.

Hello MarjaE! I have tried to reproduce the issue using Firefox 91.0a1 (2021-06-07) with macOS 10.15.7 and with the reduced motion option enabled from the system. Unfortunately I haven't spotted something out of the ordinary.
However as per your expected result firefox does skip a few tabs if you double-click on one of the arrows. If this helps you please give a reply in order to solution this issue.
If the solution mentioned above is what you expected could you please provide a screen recording with the issue you are encountering in order to further investigate this issue.
Thank you!
I turned off my frame-rate setting for this recording.

Shilpa can you take a look on this and provide more info on this issue?
Thank you!
