Steps to reproduce:

  • Go to about:config
  • Find keyword.enabled and set to false
  • Go to Firefox home
  • Start typing

Actual results:

Focus goes to address bar. However, because keyword.enabled is false, pressing enter doesn't result in a search, because it's only matching on URLs.

Expected results:

Focus go to search field, not address bar.
