Steps to reproduce:
Click the overflow menu button, then select an item in the menu. Running Pop!_OS 21.04, Ryzen 3600, GTX 980. Repro video attached.
Actual results:
The transition animation flashes and has a low frame-rate.
Expected results:
Smooth, non-flashing animation.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Menus' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

I was able to reproduce this issue on latest Nightly version 91.0a1 (2021-07-12)(64-bit) on Ubuntu 20.04.
I've run mozregression and found this Push log :

I'll change flags accordingly. Severity suggested S3.
