Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0
Steps to reproduce:
1, set browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll=false
2, restart firefox
3, click in the urlbar
Actual results:
After turning off the option it still works as before.
1 click highlights the whole url.
Expected results:
It should have place the cursor in the url where I clicked.
It is a pain in the ass to juggling around when I want to modify the url.
I tried to live with this bug for a long time, but it very annoying.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

I must note the option doesn't exist indeed, unless you add it, the feature was dropped, as you said.
