An exception thrown anywhere in ThunderbirdProfileMigrator._migrate is completely ignored and the import process stops forever. The user can't go back, forward, or cancel (although they can press Escape). Ping is adding a failure page to the migration wizard, so exceptions should be caught and reported there.
