I just spoke with a friend who was trying to migrate to Netscape 7 from Netscape 4.x. They were successful for one profile but not another. It turns out that one profile had a large mail file but not enough disk space to duplicate it. As it turns out, there was almost enough disk space to complete the process but not quite. It would be nice if the dialog informed the user that they would need at least xx more Megs free. It would have been helpful if the failure dialog could point to a particular file or set of files that are causing the failure. Another possibility would be to inform user of files that seem very large (over 10Meg? 50 Meg?) and ask if they want to migrate those files or not?

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies there as well or resolve this bug. I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken. To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".
This is a generic problem (presumably) and affects all platforms.
