RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1699514

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/94.0.4606.61 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/91.1.2

I have right-clicked a Unified Folder (e.g. Sent) in "Unified Folders" mode and clicked on the "Properties". Then, I have clicked on "Choose..." to change the selected folders to search.

Actual results:

When the window "Select the folders to search" is closed, Thunderbird is unresponsive/freezes. It makes no difference whether the selection of folders is changed or whether I click "OK" or "Cancel", Thunderbird always freezes. When killing Thunderbird, the changes are not saved.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should not freeze and the changes should be saved.

This also happens in troubleshooting mode or in a freshly created profile containing only one email account. I did not have this problem with Thunderbird 78.

Yet another example of bug 1699514. No resolution as yet.
