STR:
- Start with
unset MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND
on Ubuntu 21.04. - Select a single word on any website (eg wikipedia.org) and drag it around the page for a short while.
- Repeat until dragging stops working.
Does not happen with Wayland.

I'm unable to reproduce on Fedora 34. Can you please attach log of drag session? Run with MOZ_LOG="WidgetDrag:5" env variable.
