Nightly Build: 96.0a1 (2021-11-07) (64-bit) on macOS Monterey

Test Condition

  • Open a Google Meet meeting
  • Start screen sharing

Expected Result

  • Screensharing works

Actual Result

  • Screenshot 1: The screen sharing preview shows a weird image. It looks as if it was "interlaced" (?)
  • Screenshot 2: The real screen share is then also "interlaced"

Additional Information

Google Meet screen sharing works fine on the Release branch, 95.0b4 (64-bit).

@jrmuizel wasn't there recently a change about 440 to 420 or similar? Related maybe?

Flags: needinfo?(jmuizelaar)

That change is in 95b4. This was more likely caused by the webrtc update.

This is a duplicate of 1738628. This bug is not specific to Meet, but screen capture in general, and it is already being investigate.
