On my new MacBook Pro with M1 arm64 chip Thunderbird 91.3.1 does not show any addresses from the macOS Contacts app. The option "Use Mac OS X Address Book" in the File menu is checked, rechecking this has no effect. In macOS 12.0.1 in System Preferences -> Security and Privacy -> Contacts there are no apps listed. It is as if Thunderbird never requested access to the addresses at all. "tccutil reset AddressBook" did not help either.

Mac AB is indeed pretty well broken in version 91. So far, no ETA for resolving.
