User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/96.0.4664.45 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
On both Windows and Linux using 91.3.2 (and 91.2.1) if I select Preferences then TB gobbles memory until it crashes. This started very recently. I have tried disabling add-ons, and have started a new profile. It seems to hang asking for a password.
Actual results:
Memory usage increase.
Expected results:
No memory increase.

This seems to be a known bug ... only wasted 4 hours on this. See https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-GB/thunderbird/addon/tb-langpack-en-gb/reviews/

Prefs tab opens as blank, TBird then starts grabbing all the PCs memory until whole PC is unusable. Dangerously broken. DO NOT USE. This started immediately after a forced auto-update from last 78 to 91.2.1 [Win 10 64-bit - version 91.0buildid20211020014537 dated 01 Nov 2021]
