This has started permafailing after the version of mozilla central was increased from 96 to 97.

Dave, could you please take a look?

Test was disabled in Bug 1739289 until the fix lands.

• User impact if declined: Unnecessary telemetry probe keeps working.

The telemetry probe was introduced by bug 1740063, to assist decision for bug 1714939 patch.
we got sufficient data for all channels, so it's fine removing the telemetry probe before it reaches the expiration.
