User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/96.0.4664.45 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I went into Manage Bookmarks, and picked out the appropriate bookmark that I wanted to delete.
Actual results:
Then when I went to delete, firefox crashed, but the bookmark is gone afterwards
Expected results:
normally the bookmark should simply be deleted without crashing

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Just wanted to chime in, since I've ran into the same issue.
The root cause appears to be Wayland-related. Running Firefox under Wayland has a 100% chance on triggering this bug (on Fedora 35, anyway). Works even with a completely new profile and default installation.
Running Firefox under XWayland works just fine, though. No crashes when removing bookmarks.
