User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:97.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/97.0
Steps to reproduce:
Upload an image into some chat on app.element.io
- register or login on app.element.io
- open a chat with someone
- either upload an image or paste it from clipboard
This is a regression that started a week or two ago on nightly. Works fine in the current beta/release versions.
Actual results:
The image is sent as a "regular" file and doesn't show a preview
Expected results:
The image should be sent as an image and show a preview

Thanks for the report! I figured out this is related to enabling OffscreenCanvas on Nightly (bug 1746110). Setting gfx.offscreencanvas.enabled
to false in about:config makes the preview work again.
