User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0

Steps to reproduce:

Using firefox nightly and trying to move a tab from 2nd position to last (8th). Always crashes.

Actual results:

$ firefox-nightly

(firefox:14036): Gdk-WARNING **: 03:17:14.123: The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 22078 error_code 3 request_code 129 (SHAPE) minor_code 2)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I'm having the same problem. If I move a tab into a new window, and then try merging the tab back, it crashes. If I try to manage ~8 tabs it crashes.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/unofficial_user_repositories#heftig here is the page containing the setup for the repo. I am also using mesa-git drivers from the mesa-git repo also present on this page.

The problem has now been fixed for me. If I ever encounter any similar other issues I will create a new one. Thanks so much for the help!
