*** observed with 2002-10-17 branch build ***
i am on WinXP japanese locale
Steps to reproduce:
- open Address Book;
- select one to Export Tools|Export..);
- while Exporting save it with JA name;
- Import the saved AB (Tools|Import..);
- select the exported AB for Import;
- ok the process, note the result: there is nothing to Import, this doesn't
happen if the exported AB had an ascii name
nominating since it is an important functionality feature

Marina, it sounds like the same as bug 158232
