User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0
Steps to reproduce:
Update from 98.0b1 to 98.0b2.
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS; with NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti with nvidia-driver-470 from Ubuntu APT.
Actual results:
Serious performance issues compared to before update:
- Choppy scroll on even plain text websites
- YouTube videos have very poor framerate
- Odd artifacts on some websites (see GitHub screenshot; there is a line above the buttons that disappears on hover, seems to fix when it re-renders that bit)
I also have the main channel Firefox installed; none of these occur on that.
It's unusably (due to frustration) choppy and laggy.

Thanks for the report! Please open about:support, click on "Copy text to clipboard" and paste it here.
I removed the existing driver using apt and installed nvidia-driver-510
: sudo apt remove nvidia-driver-470 && sudo apt install nvidia-driver-510
. Everything is working fine now, thanks!
