Steps to reproduce:

Address book originally created in Google with additions in Thunderbird.
Thunderbird old address book displays an Organization field and it is used extensively to segment addresses based on Organization.
(Not directly related to the bug but an interesting side discovery: After I started using the Organization segmentation I discovered that Organization is not a Google field but a grouping facility. Note that Android "Contacts" app displays and allows modification of the Organization field. And the field is correctly replicated between Google contacts and Android contacts)
In the Thunderbird old address book, Organization is a field displayed in the Work tab.

Actual results:

When using the new address book, the Organization field is not displayed and hence not modifiable. However if I enter an Organization search string, all the addresses with that field value are displayed, but because the field is not displayed, new addresses cannot be added to an Organization.

Expected results:

Organization should be displayed under the Work segment.

Apologies to the development team if my bug report was a bit premature - I see from a preentation about the new address book that the Organization field is displayed.

Please check with developers but I suggest that this bug be marked as cured.
