In http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1458223/20021018/aguilera_christina.jhtml?headlines=true I click middle on the "Click for photos from the video" link because I want it to pop up its own window. Turns out, it's a JS link, and it does that explicitly -- so I get a blank window that has "javascript:popFlip('/news/photos/a/aguilera_021002/');" in the URL field, and nothing displayed. If you can't make the JS actually work in the new window (I don't understand the issues there) then you should at least make middle-click be synonymous for left-click on such links -- because the current behavior isn't very helpful.
