A while back, we ended support for Thunderbird (bug #1604848, bug #1608971). Things have changed and the issues that we had at the time aren't issues anymore.

This bug tracks the work required for re-adding support for Thunderbird.

Rough work plan:

1. work out data policy issues, make changes to protected data access policy
2. re-add thunderbird to supported products in collector
3. update code for auto-removing protected data access to work with the data policy changes

I think that's it. I'll write up bugs for this.
