User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to mozilla.org
  2. Open Responsive Design Mode
  3. Right-click on the viewport area (clicking outside the viewport does not open the contextual menu)

Actual results:

The contextual menu appears at a considerable distance to the right from where the right click occurred. This happens independently of the developer tools console being open and/or docked.

This seems to be the same as a 2018 bug (reported in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1461796)

Expected results:

The contextual menu should be displayed close to the mouse cursor, where the right-click action took place.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'DevTools::Responsive Design Mode' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Responsive Design Mode
Product: Firefox → DevTools

I confirm this and its irritating

still not fixed in ff v99.0.1
