[Description:]
When live switching language twice, the search bar dropdown search label remains unchanged.
[Environment:]
Firefox 100.0b4, latest Nightly 101.0a1
Mac 11, Windows 10, Ubuntu 22
[Preconditions:]
Configs:
user_pref("intl.multilingual.downloadEnabled", true);
user_pref("intl.multilingual.enabled", true);
user_pref("intl.multilingual.liveReload", true);
user_pref("browser.search.log", true);
Install Languages:
about:preferences /Language - Search More Languages/Select Language to add / Add.
[Steps:]
- Install a Firefox locale, en-us for example (autoset region not that relevant).
- Locate languages and install a few languages: fr, en, cn
- Open about:preferences / Search and enable Search Bar
- Open about:preferences / Language.
- Switch the language to anything previously added (e.g. fr).
- Open the Search Bar dropdown and observe the search label.
- Switch the language again and redo step 6
[Actual Result:]
The search label remains unchanged in the language after the first switch (step 5).
[Expected Result:]
The search bar label is switched to the switched localization.
[Note:]
The search bar label is set correctly after restart.
