Steps to reproduce:

Even though I type search words in Search Box of Firefox home,

Actual results:

the word appear in URL address bar.
This is very yucky.

Expected results:

Search words should appear in typing place.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

FYI,
Setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false fixes this issue.

Finally, I was able to solve the issue.
At first I type "about:config" in URL address bar, and found "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar".
Then I change the setting from True to false.
