I'm sorry if this is a dupe. I've spent the last 30 minutes looking through
bugzilla for a match.
Anyways, here's what's going on:
Open a window. Type in a url (google.com). Create a new tab. Load something
into the new tab's context. Right/control click on the former window and hit
"Close Tab".
The result is that the entier window disappears, to be replaced by a grey context.
If you create a new tab, the content will magically reappear in the old tab.
Note: this only happens when killing the background tabs on the left. Ones on
the right have no difficulties with this. This happens with the window -> two
tab transistion as well as the 2->3+ tabs transistion.
I'm seeing this on Jaguar and a recent nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC
Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021101
I also noticed this behaviour on the 1.2b release. I'll write the build # in
here in a second (the nightly forced me to move my Library Folder).
If this is not a dupe, I think it should be fixed for 1.2 final.
